Finding strength, overcoming fears - supporttherapeutic riding

The children in our day group have one thing in common: they carry a lot of emotional and social stress with them. They often come from difficult family backgrounds, struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem or behavioral problems. In order to overcome these challenges, they need support that gives them stability and opens up new perspectives. 

This is where therapeutic riding comes into play. This sensitive yet powerful method not only offers children a safe space, but also a unique opportunity to get to know themselves better. Interacting with the gentle horses helps to build trust, regulate emotions and discover their own strengths. The horse's movements promote body awareness and concentration, while direct contact with the animal has a healing and calming effect. 

Our aim is to offer the children in our day group two days of therapeutic riding as part of a vacation program. For many of them, this is a valuable time-out that helps them to cope better with life's challenges in the long term. But this offer is only possible with your support: we need 504 euros to finance the care provided by experienced professionals, the use of the horses and the meals for the children.
