For the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the forced labor camps of the Nazi jet factory Reimahg, a peace bell is to be erected on the former military site.
The bell itself will be cast in Castelnovo ne’ Monti, Italy, one of the places from which forced laborers were deported to Walpersberg.
The frame for hanging the bell will be manufactured by a local company.
The inauguration is to take place during the commemorations in May 2025.
