Digital radio is being introduced throughout Germany. The ‘BOS digital radio’ is specially designed to meet the requirements of authorities and organisations with security tasks (BOS). The BOS digital radio network unites and standardises the communication of all those involved nationwide.
This means that vehicles and paramedics as foot patrol must also be equipped with this new radio technology in order to be able to communicate wirelessly.
We will have to permanently install a digital radio for our medical vehicle in the first quarter of 2025. In addition, we need to buy two portable radios for paramedics as foot patrol. This means total costs of around 5,700 euros for the devices and installation, which we will have to pay from our own funds.
The first steps have been taken, the procurement has been initiated and all emergency services have already been trained.
