Dear visitors and friends of Nymphaea Zoo
The construction of our new terrarium and rearing house is a major and financially burdensome step for the zoo, but also an important investment in the future of our zoo to make it even more attractive and modern for you and our animals.
The new building will bring numerous improvements:
- New indoor enclosures that are optimised to meet the animals' needs.
- A large outdoor enclosure for our tortoises, giving them even more freedom of movement.
- Rooms for our staff to make animal care and work in the park more efficient.
- A photovoltaic system on the roof to provide sustainable electricity for the zoo.
- An environmentally friendly heating system with an air heat pump that saves energy and reduces the park's ecological footprint.
As you know, Nymphaea Zoo is run on a voluntary basis. Without your support, the operation of the park and the realisation of such projects would not be possible!
