About this project

Jo Bautista from SendToGive e.V. is responsible for this project
We are empowering an indigenous community of 225 people in the Philippines with a solar energy grid that can offer them a renewable, cost-free source of energy for lights, ventilation, and access to digital learning.

Affordable and clean energy access is considered by the United Nations as crucial for economic prosperity and quality of life, as represented by UN SDG 7.

Our aim is to raise 7500 Euros by December 31, 2024 which will be used for:

  • Purchase and installation of the solar energy grid (1.5KW, 3 panels and battery)
  • Transportation for the technology and team (Manila to Busuanga)
  • Creation of a short film to tell the story of the Tagbanuas and the impact that access to electricity will have on their lives - to be shared with all donors in Q2 2025
