With “Work for Refugees”, we are committed to the integration of refugees into the labor market. We support them by:
- Job placement: Successful placement is based on the use of peer advisors based on the work-first approach, which prioritizes rapid integration into the labour market. They also offer them orientation in the Berlin job and training market.
- Individual support: In various languages such as German, English, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Dari, Farsi and Turkish.
- Job exchanges and company presentations: Enable companies to approach refugees and immigrants directly in order to attract potential employees.
With your support, we can help these people to stand on their own two feet and contribute their talents to society.
What do we want to achieve?
Every contribution helps: Your donation will help us to expand our coordination and press work to make even more companies aware of the project and successfully integrate refugees into the job market.
Who is behind the project?
Work for Refugees is a non-profit project of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband Landesverband Berlin e.V. in cooperation with the Gesellschaft für interkulturelles Zusammenleben gGmbH. It was initiated in October 2015 with the Stiftung Zukunft Berlin, which has supported the project ever since.
