Circus Project: Greatly Skilled Artists (Affaltrach Elementary School)

From May 19 to 23, 2025, Affaltrach Elementary School (GSA) and the school’s support association are organizing a circus project week, giving every student the chance to become a greatly skilled and confident artist.

Throughout the week, the children will explore a variety of circus skills, discovering hidden talents and strengths. They’ll learn that everyone can be part of something extraordinary and that together, we can achieve great things. The week culminates in three performances on Saturday, May 24, 2025, where the children will proudly showcase their new abilities in a grand circus tent in front of a live audience. This project not only boosts the students’ self-confidence but also creates memories that will last a lifetime.

We are thrilled to partner with the professional team from Project Circus Piccolo, a member of the German Association for Circus Pedagogy. Supported by the Ministry of Education and the "Lernen mit Rückenwind" initiative, the Piccolo team, alongside our teachers, will guide the children throughout the week and provide all the necessary equipment, including a large circus tent.

While the logistical details (dates, location, etc.) are already set, we now need funding to cover the costs of the tent rental and service providers.
