Who are we?
The Rainbow House of Hope has been dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and young people in Uganda for 26 years. Our mission is to provide new opportunities through education and individual support. In addition to schooling, we offer music, sports, dance, and theater programs to help develop talents and provide youth with skills for independent living and a brighter future. We work closely with families and the local community to achieve this.

But our work doesn’t stop with education. Climate change presents serious challenges for everyone. Unpredictable weather and rising temperatures are affecting many lives. That's why we are committed to doing our part to fight climate change—by planting trees. These trees are not just symbols of hope; they actively protect the environment and create a better climate for future generations. While there are many ways to combat climate change, trees are among the most crucial solutions. They naturally absorb carbon and help restore balance to our environment.

How can you help?
We’ve planted nearly a thousand trees in recent years, but we’re far from done. A tree costs only three to five euros in Uganda, but the expenses add up quickly for a non-profit organization like ours. This is where you come in: With your donation of just three euros or more, you can help plant the next tree and contribute to shaping the future. Every donation counts!

What happens with your donation?
Once you donate, we plant the trees together with children and community members at various locations under the motto: You donate, we grow! We aim to plant these trees on the grounds of the Rainbow House, at schools, and in other public spaces. This improves the aesthetics of the area and makes a valuable difference in the fight against climate change. The new trees create spaces where children can relax and learn, supporting their positive development and education.
