The Civitan Club Sehnde was founded in May 1998 by 9 socially active citizens and has 34 members in 2023. The focus of the voluntary work is on rapid help/support for people in need in difficult life situations in Sehnde and the surrounding area. Where state aid is no longer possible, and the implementation of projects in the areas of education and prevention.
The members of the Civitan Club Sehnde strengthen their cohesion through regular joint activities, invite guests to current topics and keep in touch with the city of Sehnde and other local associations and institutions.
The Civitan Club Sehnde is networked in Sehnde, among other things, is a member of the Alliance for Families in the Family City of Sehnde and is active in the Women for Sehnde working group and at the Round Table for Refugee Aid.
