Hope for Dedo: Let's give him his last days in dignity

The 16-year-old male dog Dedo, who has experienced so much suffering on the streets, needs our support now more than ever. Dedo has lived outside all his life, eking out a living on the streets and experiencing the love and care of the people he has met time and time again. But his journey is coming to an end. The vet's examinations have unfortunately revealed that he has a spleen tumour and that Dedo's cancer is already so advanced that an operation would no longer make sense. The anaesthetic would be too much of a risk for him and we want to spare him unnecessary suffering. Instead, we have decided to make Dedo's last days, weeks or months as comfortable as possible.

Dedo is now allowed to live in kennels with our local animal welfare officer, as he is used to life outside and doesn't want to stay inside. She lovingly looks after him and even cooks him his own meals - a little joy that has remained for him during this difficult time. The vet fees of 200€ that we have had so far are for the necessary examinations to understand how far the disease has progressed. We are now asking you to support us so that we can cover the costs and continue to care for Dedo with dignity. Please help us to make Dedo's last moments of life as beautiful as possible. Every donation, no matter how small, helps to ensure that he can spend his time with us in love and security.
