Hohe Tatra Ocami Psa Shelter dog support

Tierhilfe Hohe Tatra e.V. is a voluntary association from Regensburg area that works in animal protection. Our focus and commitment is to cooperate with animal shelters in Slovakia that urgently need our help.
We have been working successfully with various animal shelters for years, with whom we maintain direct contact and whose work we regularly check in on.
- medical care for the animals and preparation for adoption (e.g. vaccinations, microchip, ...)
- expansion of the infrastructure of the animal shelters (e.g. dog boxes, rain protection, water supply, ...)
Tierhilfe Hohe Tatra e.V. also supports castration projects in Slovakia in order to help improve the conditions for dogs and cats on site. It is precisely for this reason that we also make it possible, as far as our association can, to improve the living conditions of animals in Slovakia. To do this, we create the opportunity for local animal shelter employees to do educational work. This work is primarily about information such as species-appropriate care, help with medical challenges and a dignified coexistence between humans and dogs.
Unfortunately, the work is a never-ending task, as many illegal breeders are active and the often uncontrolled reproduction of dogs cannot be sustainably limited.
