With this project, we are supporting Effie, an animal rescuer who has set up a neutering program for street cats in Greece and has even found new homes for some of the cats.

About this project
Zoe Keldenich from Kindness for Kitties e.V. is responsible for this project
With this project, we want to support Effie, who works as an animal rescuer in Greece. Effie started feeding colonies of street cats in her neighborhood in Athens in 2020. She quickly realized that feeding alone would not help the cats in the long term, so she started a neutering program. Since then, she has managed to spay and neuter 168 male and female stray cats in the Athens area.
TNR is the most ethical way to help stray cats in countries like Greece where there are so many strays.
In the meantime, more than 20 kittens and cats have been placed in loving new homes in Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden via her page (@adoptagreekcat) on FB and Instagram.
We want to support Effie in her important work so that even more can be done for the street cats in Greece!
