Tierhilfe Fuerteventura e.V. is a non-profit animal welfare organization based in Dransfeld/DE.
THF is active on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. A network of many private foster homes is available to our dogs as a rescue center and temporary home. There, the animals receive medical care and are looked after with heart and expertise until we have found a suitable home for them. Our fosterlings are registered found animals and dogs from the local perreras.
Our dogs travel to their new homes officially registered with Traces papers, EU ID, chipped, tested for Mediterranean diseases, dewormed, treated with antiparasitics and, if possible due to their age, neutered.
We also care for street cats by feeding them at feeding stations set up in hotel complexes, various garbage dumps and in the villages.
We neuter cats and dogs on the island all year round and educate the population of Fuerteventura.
We are dependent on donations and support all year round for the care of our protégés, whether dogs or cats. We would therefore be delighted to receive support in the form of a small donation!
