About this project

Frank Abraham from Harzer Sonnenzwerge e.V. is responsible for this project
We are reaching out to you today to fight for the life of six-year-old Jana from Ingolstadt. A year ago, she was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an incurable brain tumor that primarily affects children. This diagnosis has completely changed the lives of Jana and her family.

Here is the family's call for donations:

Dear friends,

We are a family from Ingolstadt, and we are urgently seeking your help. A year ago, our daughter Jana, then five years old, was diagnosed with DIPG. This rare and aggressive form of brain tumor is nearly impossible to treat, and the average life expectancy after diagnosis is only nine months. However, we have not given up hope.

Jana is a lively and wonderful child. She loves dancing, singing, painting, and spending a lot of time in the garden. She was supposed to start preschool in September, but our lives have come to a standstill as we fight every day to provide her with the best possible care.

The monthly cost of Jana's life-extending medications amounts to 8,000 euros, which our health insurance does not cover. These medications are essential to alleviate her symptoms and give her as pain-free a life as possible. After a year, our savings are depleted, and we do not know how we will manage the coming months.

Therefore, we are asking you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us a step closer to extending Jana's life and securing the medical care she needs. With your help, we can finance the medications she urgently needs and give her precious moments she might not otherwise experience.

Please help us give our little Jana a chance. Your donation can make a difference and carry our family through this incredibly difficult time. We are immensely grateful for any support and hope you have a heart for Jana.

With deepest gratitude and great hope,

Jana's family*

Let's come together to fight for Jana and give her and her family the chance to continue experiencing unforgettable moments. Please donate to support her on her journey. Every euro counts, and every donation brings us one step closer to allowing Jana to live a more carefree life.
