PATRIZIA Chamonix Adventure Challenge 2024

The PATRIZIA Foundation is excited to announce the return of its beloved Hiking Challenge for the fourth consecutive year. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Chamonix, France, in the vibrant heart of Europe, this year’s event will unfold from September 15th to 18th, 2024. This year, we anticipate over 120 participants from PATRIZIA, including both staff and sponsors, who will engage in fundraising efforts for three months for a worthy cause. A true challenge.


For 2024, we’ve set an ambitious target: raising €200,000 to support the PATRIZIA School Bafia in the heart of Cameroon. Together, we can make a difference!


The PATRIZIA School Bafia in Cameroon shines as a symbol of hope, championing the cause for self-reliance and unity among its diverse community of Christian, Muslim, and bilingual English and French speakers. With its recent facelift and expansion, the school is set to enrich the lives of over 900 children each year. In Cameroon, where only 67% of kids finish primary education, this institution stands out by focusing on the inclusion of children with cognitive challenges linked to prenatal drug exposure. It’s all about giving every child the shot at a future they deserve. 

Despite the challenges, the school is a hub of excellent learning. The PATRIZIA Foundation plans to transform the school into a beacon of education for the region as an innovative learning model. With the support of the #patriziachallenge, the existing building will be comprehensively and professionally renovated. A new annex will wrap around the playground, creating a secure and safe place for children to play and grow their social and motor skills. Also adding new sanitary facilities, a library and a computer lab to the school’s complex. Plus, digging a well for fresh water and setting up a solar system to provide a reliable source of electricity. This will be the first time the school has access to running water and electricity.
