Environmental restoration and greening through tree planting

We intend to restore the environment through massive tree planting in Kisii and Nyamira counties in Kenya specifically in these places: Nyanchwa hills in Kisii, Sironga Primary and Sironga Girls in Nyamira, Kiendege area in Nyamira, Bouti area in Kisii among other places massively affected by deforestation and help to restore the places to their original form. These identified places are critical water catchment areas and water originating from them serves over 1,250,000 people in the localities hence the need to conserve them. We are seeking funding support of Euros 60,000 to help us purchase 400,000 tree seedlings for planting in those affected places. The minimum cost of  buying one tree seedling is Euros 0.15. Planting of 400,000 trees to help restore the affected ecosystems will benefit 1,250,000 people through sustained supply of water resulting from the protection of the water catchments and they will generally benefit from the protection of their environment through tree planting.
