Project Description: "Treehouse for Setzeclub"
The children of Setzeclub, a meeting place for kids and teens in Arnstadt, harbor a special dream: their own treehouse. In 2021, the idea sprouted to enhance the youth club and its outdoor space. Actively involved, the children contributed their visions for a treehouse in a future workshop. With support from the city of Arnstadt, the children took charge. Collaborating with an architectural firm, designs were crafted, and the treehouse's ground floor is designated as a "Green Classroom."
Unique to this project is children leading from ideation to execution. Beyond immediate participants, the treehouse benefits all current and future Setzeclub visitors. Symbolizing children's aspirations, "Treehouse for Setzeclub" invites the community to witness this exciting adventure and follow the creative journey of these kids.
