Let's build an eye clinic in Kabuku, Tansania!

In Autumn of 2023, we accomplished something extraordinary - gathering funds for St. Monica day clinic in Kabuku, Tanzania (http://tinyurl.com/3zrrvzxm), enabling the provision of glasses for those who couldn’t afford them. Sister Jenny Raduk, a brave, devoted member of the Usambara Sister Order, tirelessly oversees this area of the clinic. Her work, ignited by our donations, has since sparked a cascade of gratitude, with weekly messages and photos from children witnessing the world clearly for the first time, and adults who desperately needed this visual aid.

Yet, Sister Jenny dreams bigger, aspiring to establish an eye clinic with an operating room for treating cataracts—a procedure seemingly simple, yet life-changing, sadly unattainable for the impoverished. This operation, taking mere minutes, can illuminate a lifetime spent in the shadows.
