What would your wish be for Christmas?
We asked our patients in our projects* this question and asked them to write their thoughts on a card.
People who have been fleeing war and displacement for years, far away from their homes and families. And who have visited our doctors and medical professionals to receive medical care due to illness or injury because they are denied access to state medical facilities.
Our teams take the time to listen, because every refugee carries many worries and fears with them. With our postcard campaign for Christmas 2023, we want to create understanding for the acute situation of people at Europe's external borders. We want to highlight the discrepancy in needs and remind people that the so-called "refugees" are not an anonymous mass, but individuals with names and personal needs.
We work 6 days a week in our projects to provide medical care and support to people in need. In order to continue to make this possible, we are also dependent on financial support. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us to continue on site and provide medical care to people in need.
With €20,000 we can manage the first quarter of 2024 and remain active in our projects at Europe's external borders. Please support us and make this possible with us, because healthcare is a human right and must be accessible to all people!
