Solar batteries and panels for our animal shelter on undeveloped land

Our Romanian animal shelter with 450 dogs and 30 cats is located on undeveloped land, which makes it really difficult to care for the animals on a daily basis.

We have an 80 metre deep well from which we can pump water, but this requires an enormous amount of electricity. 

We have four batteries for a solar system. If the sun shines all day in summer, the electricity is enough to provide enough water for cleaning and also drinking water for the dogs. As soon as the sun isn't shining all day, there isn't enough to go round, not to mention in winter, when it's a disaster and we have to rely on rainwater. Faeces and urine have to be cleaned up with buckets of water from rain barrels. A miserable lugging job. 450 dogs have to be supplied with water in buckets. This kind of exhausting work has to be simplified 365 days a year so that all the work around 450 dogs is not constantly pushed to the limits of exhaustion. Maria and Adrian are constantly pushing themselves to the limit. It can't go on like this. They have given their lives to save the animals, to get them out of this misery.  We must now help them to make this bearable.

We would therefore like to be able to buy more batteries and solar panels to make Maria and Adrian's daily work easier and to have enough running water available for their daily work. 

The plan is to double the amount, four batteries for €2000 each.
