Support of frontline villages in Ukraine

Although more than one and a half years have passed, the devastating war in Ukraine continues unabated. Even though the number of refugees from Ukraine has currently decreased, the situation on the ground remains extremely precarious for the population. liftUKRAINE tirelessly works to provide people in the frontlines with essential supplies such as food, medication, and first-aid materials.

liftUKRAINE and the team around Lea and Lars (universal-aid-ukraine.org) in Eastern Ukraine have been partners for almost two years. People in need of help in the frontline villages are provided with donated food (food bags) and medicine. liftUKRAINE is happy to step in if necessary, but mainly supports vehicle procurement and repairs, as well as purchasing tires. liftUKRAINE also covers the gas costs of the “missions” and the monthly accommodation costs for the regularly rotating international helpers.

 

In order to support people in need in the frontline villages, financial support is urgently needed for repairs and tires for the vehicles, for fuel costs for the distribution of relief supplies, and to cover the costs of accommodation for the international helpers.
