Old cat Ryssja in the shelter
Dear friends!
Today I am going to tell you about a new resident of my shelter, old Ryssja.
Animals come to the shelter from different circumstances. When an animal is suffering on the street, in a shelter or being tortured by its owners, it is also very grateful. Such animals are happy to be left alone and cared for. But when an animal lives happily and then this life comes to an end, it is associated with a lot of suffering and stress. Ryssja the cat has just lost her happy life and is suffering greatly.
These eyes tell much more than I can about what a 12-year-old cat who lost her beloved master suffered at the shelter. She was not attacked by any other cat or insulted by humans, but the stress was enormous. She didn't want to eat anything and tried to attack the other cats and also me and Ljdumila, who was cleaning the cat house.

It went on for weeks, I couldn't even touch her because she tried to scratch. In time, she allowed me to pick her up in my arms and stroke her. I stroked her for a long time. And then she tried to eat something. Now Ryssja is getting used to her new life. When I come, she runs to me and wants to be stroked. No, she hasn't got used to it, she's still far from happy, but it's slowly getting better. I hope that she will calm down and spend the last years of her life without stress.
Ryssja is one of 33 of my cats who live in 3 different houses. They need food, cat litter, electricity for lighting and heating, Lyudmila, who at the age of 77 cleans all the cat houses every day and is there for the cats, also needs something for her life... Therefore we will be very grateful for any donation and hope that you will not let us down.
