Through the health project of our organization, children and families gain access to medical examinations and, if necessary, appropriate interventions. We also provide assistance with dental problems and pain.
With this project, we offer dental care to people who would otherwise not be able to afford treatment. Patients receive the necessary dental services free of charge, including fillings, root canals, cleanings, and the creation of dental prosthetics for those who have lost teeth or have none left.
Due to the hygiene and nutritional deficiencies prevalent in the country, various health problems, including dental issues, arise. Unfortunately, dental treatments are often postponed until diseased teeth are beyond saving and need to be extracted.
Untreated teeth often cause further health problems and pain. People who have lost their front teeth tend to avoid social interaction as they feel uncomfortable and insecure in social settings.
Preventive care plays a significant role in our treatment approach. Children, adolescents, and adults are informed and educated, for example, about the daily necessity of thorough tooth cleaning.
Our patients are treated by a young Paraguayan dentist, Fátima Alvarez, and her colleagues. They waive half of their fees to support our health project.
The funds donated by you will be used to cover the costs of dental treatments, materials, and medications.
