Bee A Hero-Challenge: Fördere mit we4bee Umwelt-Forschung und -Bildung

we4bee uses the bee bio-sensor and artificial intelligence to learn more about the needs and behavior of bees, which behave conspicuously before storms and natural disasters. We want to make this sensitivity measurable and usable for us humans by developing early warning systems (e.g. for earthquakes). For this purpose, beehives were equipped with high-tech sensor technology and set up at schools and educational institutions for use in lessons. The collected data and photos from the beehive are made available free of charge to all interested parties via apps. Children and young people thus become researchers and carry knowledge about the importance of the bee as a representative of insects into their families and circles of friends. we4bee thus makes an important contribution to environmental education and climate protection. At the same time, the collected data is scientifically evaluated by AI experts at the University of Würzburg and other research institutions with the help of Machine Learning and Big Data analyses.
