About this project

In the Shey region, our association is primarily concerned with:
- Educational aid with a focus on educational programs of SEE Learning pedagogy
- School aid with a focus on improving learning and teaching conditions
- Free health aid for needy families and Buddhist monasteries.
We want to promote the emotional, social and ethical intelligence of students. To achieve this, we rely on the international educational program SEE Learning®. Developed at Emory University, the program provides educators with the methods and tools they need to teach the cultivation of the good heart.
School support:
A good quality of education and learning for students depends on a good school atmosphere. Here we support
in Ladakh, especially the Lamdon Model School in Shey. Our focus is on better working conditions for teachers and
adequate school premises in order to develop the full educational potential of the school.
Health aid:
Together, we organize free medical camps in several villages, monasteries, community centers and schools in Ladakh every year. For six weeks, we offer free medical history consultations, acupuncture treatments and health and nutritional advice for local people under the guidance of naturopath & monk Thich Hue Nghi (Cedric Bascle).
