This summer the International Care Committee (iCare) of the Erasmus University is travelling with 16 international business students to Nepal. In collaboration with the Nepalese volunteer organization Third Eye Volunteering we are going to the Annapurna Region to help.
Our goal for this year is to renovate an historical building in Khudi.This building is of significant value for the locals in Khudi and renovation of this buiding is thus highly appreciated. We will execute the renovation together with a lot of Nepalese children from the local school. This means that we can also contribute socially. iCare is the international community development committee of STAR Study Association of Rotterdam School of Management, the largest study association in Europe with more than 7.000 members. Since September 2012, the iCare committee is involved in the planning and recruitment of the project.

Komende zomer reist iCare met zestien(internationale) bedrijfskunde studenten van de Erasmus Universiteit af naar Nepal om de handen uit de mouwen te steken. In samenwerking met de Nepalese Organisatie (Third Eye Volunteer) gaan wij een historisch gebouw renoveren in de Annapurna regio van Nepal. Dit gebouw heeft een diepgaande betekenis voor de bevolking van het plaatsje Khudi en renovatie van dit gebouw wordt daarom ook zeer op prijs gesteld. We zullen de renovatiewerkzaamheden samen met de kinderen uitvoeren die op school zitten naast het gebouw. Dit betekent dat we ook in sociaal opzicht ons steentje bij kunnen dragen. International Care (iCare, voorheen CDIT) is de community commissie van Study Association Rotterdam School of Management (STAR), de grootste studievereniging van Europa met meer dan 7.000 leden. De iCare commissie is vanaf september 2012 bezig met het opzetten van het project en het rekruteren van participanten.
