GLASSES FOR NEEDY PEOPLE IN PARAGUAY

Through the health project of our association, children and families have access to medical examinations and appropriate measures. We also help with the procurement of glasses. This offer is gratefully accepted, as it gives them the opportunity to eliminate visual barriers that hinder the educational processes of children and impair the work and social interaction of their parents or grandparents.

If there are symptoms, we provide a free eye examination and, if necessary, provide appropriate glasses according to the prescription. An ophthalmologist or optician assesses whether they need glasses, medication is required, or in rare cases, surgical intervention is necessary.

So far, the eye examination has been postponed until the symptoms worsen and may lead to further health problems. In addition, buying glasses is too expensive for many families.

Poor eyesight affects the learning and socialization process. Please help us to enable qualified examinations and the purchase of glasses.
