The Wünschehof - an environmental project with young people on the farm

With your donation, you help the future project on an old farm to do important development work! Our concern is to restore the natural balance in our forests and meadows of Upper Lusatia together with young people. The groups or school classes camp with us in teepees and spend an intensive and fulfilling time, in which the work in the forest and the leisure activities (handicrafts, archery, horseback riding, animal education, campfire and music) on our farm balance each other out. A community is created that is united by the good feeling of being able to do something together against the destruction of the environment. 

When a raw piece of wood is turned into a spoon, a bowl, an art object or a bow and arrow with their own hands, many children are completely in their element and forget the world around them. So that children from low-income families can also attend a wood workshop - we need your donation for this! 

Our nature camps and handicraft courses are currently still held under provisional conditions. We lack important equipment, materials, a summer kitchen and much more. 

Children's and youth work, as meaningful and necessary as it is, is not supported by parental contributions alone, especially not in a structurally weak region like Upper Lusatia. Donations are an important source of funding for our work!
