About this project

Horst Schulze from Projekt Tandandale is responsible for this project
More and more people are settling into the territory of the Wambuti pygmies of Isigo, relatives of the Wambuti of Tandandale. The people fled from the war and are now looking for areas to plant fields.
The territory of the Wambuti is also to be sold. But the Wambuti want to preserve as much of the forest as possible because they live off the forest. They would also lose their village then. Interested parties would like to clear the forest and dig for gold or other precious metals. That would devastate the whole area.
Too much has already been lost. And in Isigo, too, a large piece of forest was cleared against the will of the Wambuti.
Now they have convinced the landlord to sell them the land and save nature.
They are already settling on a small piece of land, they want to preserve or even reforest the rest.
The piece of land of 67.5 hectares costs only $5,000 (including additional costs), but even this amount is unaffordable for the Wambuti. That's why they ask for help. Just buy a piece of land and give it to the Wambuti

Help the Isigo Wambuti buy the land. Help to preserve a piece of primeval forest and an environment worth living in.
