About this project

Ruby N. from Deutsch-Indische Zusammenarbeit BaWü is responsible for this project
Adoption Agency of the Hope House in Vellore, India, is the only agency in India that caters exlusively to adoptable children with special needs.  Because of their special health needs, we end up taking children to the hospital almost on a dailyl basis and we need a transport vehicle.

Currently, we are using a commerical three wheeler (Auto Rickshaw) which is working out to exhorbitantly expensive.  We want to get an elelctric vehicle to avail the state given incentives along with reducing the monthly fuel & maintainance costs.  This particular model is the reasonable one to suit our needs to be used as the multipurpose vehicle (apart from taking special needs children to the hospital, we can also use it for taking the older chidlren to school as well).
