We want to help 10 motivated, committed young Balinese who deserve to break the poverty spiral to conquer the world!
We want to support 10 young Balinese from the simplest living conditions to receive a solid education.
We want to enable 10 young Balinese to train as certified hotel specialists with this pilot project in cooperation with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
EKONID - the German Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia - offers this unique opportunity to build up a dual education for hotel specialists in the north of Bali. EKONID has deliberately chosen the north of Bali as a model region. The level of development in the north is far behind the south of the island. Here people still live very simply, some even in existential poverty. There are few opportunities for motivated young people to escape these conditions. We have met some of these committed young people who are striving to get ahead in life and to build a solid foundation for better conditions.
This can be achieved through a good, high-quality training. With a dual education through EKONID, the trainees receive a qualification that is unique in Indonesia. With this educational degree, which is recognized in Europe as well as in Indonesia, they can take over leading positions in any hotel in Indonesia. They even have the opportunity to find employment in Germany and thus in all of Europe with their degree.
The vocational college in Sawan is looking forward to the new school year in August 2023 with the new training program "Hotel specialist" with a curriculum according to German standards. A great upgrade of this "School of excellence" in the underdeveloped north of Bali.
The cost per person for a two-year training is 2600 euros.. The costs include examination fees, certification costs, assessment and school fees. The training companies (Cili Emas, Holiway Garden, Desa Saya) pay their part, but the trainees' share of the costs is not covered.
100% of the donations received go directly to this project. We guarantee that.
