Support victims of Earthquake in Turkish-Syrian Border Region

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE 

The victims of the violent earthquake have increased to more than 16,000 persons in Turkey and Syria. Latest estimations show that the numbers of victims will increase in time as both the weather conditions and the lack of rescue teams and machinery are worsening the situation on the ground. People are in urgent need for support for shelter, food, winter mattresses, and blankets. 

Since the earthquake started on 06. February 2023, ongoing aftershocks are forcing hundreds of thousands of people in the border-region to stay outside or at various collection tent points.  

As DOZ e.V. Germany and DOZ Syria we want to support all affected people in the border regions such as Jenderis city and others where we have seen the major impact of the earthquake. Urgent support such as Winter Baskets, Food Baskets, Ready-to-eat food Basket (RTEs), and Hygiene kits are needed for all affected populations. 

We are DOZ e.V. a non-profit German Syrian Migrant organization supporting local and refugee communities in Syria and Iraq and Germany since 2012 and are registered in Leipzig, Germany since 2014. We support people directly on the ground through DOZ Syria and other local partners in Turkey, Iraq, and Syria.
