LSV Schöngleina: Renovation & modernization of the sports field

The way down into the valley was bumpy. Now it's time to recharge batteries and conquer new peaks. After its founding in 2015, the LSV was on the verge of dissolution just 4 years later. However, thanks to the commitment of some remaining club members and to the delight of the surrounding communities, families and youth, this could be prevented. We are back with a new concept and changed structure, but there is still a lot to do. For this we urgently need your support. 

 

A lot has happened in the last three years and the LSV Schöngleina is once again enjoying a growing number of members. A special highlight for everyone was the first family sports festival, which we were able to realize with combined forces on this year's World Children's Day. Furthermore, we were able to broaden our base by founding a new department for Nordic Walking & Aerobics, which was warmly welcomed by our female club members. Minor improvements to the clubhouse, e.g. in the sanitary area and club room were also implemented. 

 

Despite the many helping hands, voluntary work, small grants and of course the committed personal contribution, there remains a high proportion that we have to provide ourselves through equity and donations in order to realize the renovation of the sports field and the clubhouse as well as the renewal and modernization of the sports equipment.
