    About this project

Paul B. from Same World, Same Chance is responsible for this project
The organization "Same World, Same Chance" (SWSC) was founded in 2009 to build a rural high school and health clinic in Zambia to provide a free education and health care to the children and young mothers in this region.

Water samples examined with testing kits indicate a highly dangerous level of E.coli bacteria in the wells and the local stream. Villagers are still using this water for
    - cleaning dishes, clothes and food
    - washing themselves
    - and unfortunately also for drinking

The provision of safe drinking water for the children should thus as soon as possible be based on a reliable source. The construction of a well requires
    1. experienced geo-engineers surveying the best location to access clean ground water.
    2. a heavy drilling machine to go 50-100m into the ground, since only boreholes with this depth ensure all year long ground water access.
    3. proper bore hole piping and a reliable hand pump to lift the water.

According to the quotes which we received from well known contractors (who also worked for the KfW bank and a Christian Mission near the project site) this will cost around 40 Million Zambian Kwatcha which is around 6000 Euros. With your help we want to raise the total amount in three steps until the end of 2013, so that before next year's Christmas the children of Kibombomene will have access to clean drinking water!!!
