New life in old walls - Münden history and present in the Hail Tower

The history of the production of shotgun pellets and temporary exhibitions of the Münden culture and art initiatives are to be presented. Workshops and events are to be held for this purpose. A special meeting place for the Münden scene!

The ferry gate tower (hail tower) has been renovated!
Now the museum is to follow.
With the redesign of the museum, the association wants to make an industrial monument completely accessible and usable again for the Münden initiatives (art and culture) as well as the residents and visitors of the city.
This idea is supported by the city guides' guild, the Sydekum history association and the city administration.
The association presented a concept and held numerous preliminary talks. A project manager could be won (former monument conservator). The interior work (renovation) should take over companies from Münden. In addition, the interior will be modernized.
The schedule: After the ferry gate tower has reopened (08/11/23), the museum project is to follow. Our idea: after the completion of the concrete planning and discussions with those involved, work will start in autumn 2023.
The donations are needed for: the redesign of the premises (painting, electrics/new lighting concept) as well as a multimedia system, new tables and comfortable seating for the visitors - also with regard to the planned workshops and other events.
