Queer Lexikon - there is more to do next year

This is an abridged version of the German description. We work in the entire German-speaking area of Europe.

Queer Lexikon is an online resource for sexual, romantic and gender diversity. We are organized as a "gemeinnütziger Verein" (non-profit; roughly: 501(c)(3)).
Our work is built upon 2 main pillars: 1. Provide information about sexual, romantic and gender diversity, e.g. in the form of an online encyclopedia with glossary and with brochures. 2. Supporting lesbian, gay, bi+sexual, a_sexual, a_romantic, trans, non-binary, inter*, polyamorous and queer youth and children from rainbow families, e.g. with our anonymous question box and moderated Regenbogenchat (rainbow chat).

Our target audience are teenagers and young adults. Any information and services we provide are free of charge. We finance our work through donations. 
Our biggest expenses are personnel costs (€ 36’000, $38’000) and honoraria (€ 5’500, $5’800), costs for software and hardware (€ 790, $830), administrative costs (€ 2’830, $3’000) and costs for printing our brochures (€ 2’000, $2’100). Our accounting is completely in Euro, the dollar amounts given are rounded and only given for a rough overview.
