Operation Campaign 2023 in Mbalmayo.

Dr. René Essomba, together with other doctors, nurses and caregivers, is again conducting an op campaign in november 2023. All doctors and staff work without pay and we collect funds to pay for consumables such as bandages, dressings, anesthesia supplies, etc. Only patients who would otherwise not be able to afford surgery are operated on. The focus of the surgery campaign is on patients who had suffered bone fractures that were not properly treated and where the bones have grown together incorrectly. Through surgery, they can walk normally again and live a life without disability, or impairment. Approximately 30 patients will be operated on during this campaign.
