So far 8 children have been admitted, but the capacity is more than exhausted. The need there is huge and another 6 children are urgently waiting for admission. They are in danger of starvation.

The fundamental goal of "Église Évangélique Péniel du Niger" (EPEN) is to protect and support disadvantaged children and women and to impart Christian values. There has been a partnership with "Kinderhilfe Westafrika" since March 2018. The head of the organization is Pastor Djibrilla Oumarou. EPEN fights against poverty in Niger, for the protection and welfare of vulnerable children and women.
In the last two weeks, the husbands of two well-known Christian families have died. Both women are now completely destitute. Finding new Christian husbands is almost impossible there. One has 6 children, two of whom have already been taken into an orphanage because of their abject poverty. The other woman has 7 children.
The orphanage is already at capacity with 8 children. An expansion is urgently needed. For this purpose, the neighboring property is available, which we were able to purchase once three years ago at a favorable price.
Additionally we need sponsorships for the new children.
