About this project

Britta Sacadati from AMPO international e.V. is responsible for this project
Up to 120 children aged between 6 and 20 years live in our two orphanages. There is space for 60 girls and 60 boys. This makes AMPO one of the few institutions in Burkina Faso that reaches this age group, as most orphanages only take care of babies and toddlers. Many of our children find their way to us through state social services, others are relatives who ask for help. But it also happens again and again that one morning a child stands all alone in front of our gate. The children are orphans or half-orphans, abandoned or abused children. In each case, their need is assessed by a team of educators and psychologists.

In order to be able to continue to give the children who have found a safe home in our orphanages the nourishment they need, we ask for your support!
