Our HERO APP should be your always available contact person as a palliative patient. In our APP you will find answers to all questions that concern you as a palliative patient and you have the opportunity to network with other dying people.

Our HERO APP should be your always available contact person as a palliative patient. In our APP you will find answers to all questions that concern you as a palliative patient and you have the opportunity to network with people who are in a similar life situation.
Similar to Facebook or Intagram, you can create a profile and get in touch with people.
In hospices and palliative care units, you rarely find people who have a similar life reality. A mother with two children is moved by other worries and fears than a 19-year-old sports fan or an artist living alone.
Since our APP knows no boundaries, you can network there 24/7 with other palliative care patients who are the same age as you, who live in a similar family constellation, who have similar interests.
We'll help you plan your funeral, let people affected by your death who have been in your exact situation speak, and just be there!
In our media library you will find music, films, books and cultural media offerings that deal with the finiteness of all of us.
We are all dying people! We want to create an APP that we, too, will enjoy using when we die.
State of play:
We are currently working on a first prototype of the APP. Together with our partners such as Hamburg Leuchtfeuer, Charité Berlin and Hospiz im Park, we are subjecting planned content to a "reality check". This means that we talk to patients, their relatives and hospice staff directly on site.
Our technical team then takes our ideas and implements them.
In October we would like to be able to show a first presentation of a prototype.
What do we need your donation for:
Your donation will help to develop and create the APP technically and we will use the money to create the content described above. Because when the APP is ready, the work only begins.
We produce info videos, media content and also have to keep the APP technically up to date. We produce content for our social media channels and for our infotainment formats.
We are a very small team, so administrative costs are minimal. But we also need money for organizing our office, designing our website, graphic designs and public relations.
Our community is now one of the largest in Germany. With the HELDEN APP we would like to reach even more people and help especially away from the big cities, where there is hardly any on-site support!
