Christmas Oratorio of Kammerchor CONSTANT with educational project

Support the performance of Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio with the Kammerchor CONSTANT and the Cölner Barockorchester! In addition to the concert, help us to implement an educational project for schoolchildren in Cologne and the surrounding area and thus bring the music of Bach and the Christmas story closer to children and young people: We have already initiated numerous cooperations with schools and plan to reach more than 500 children and young people through school visits, rehearsal observations and the development of the Christmas story and to inspire them for the Christmas Oratorio. In particular, the performance of music live has suffered greatly in recent years due to the pandemic: We want to counteract this and also show schoolchildren the special impact that can be made by music played and sung live.
The educational projects in the schools will start parallel to the rehearsal phase of the choir from September 2022 and will continue until the dress rehearsal in December.

Your contribution will support the performance of the concert itself as well as the implementation of the connected educational project! All donations collected will be used directly for the project itself: They will be used to pay the fees of the vocal soloists for the concert and to finance the educational project's teaching materials.
