How we want proceed:
School management and community administration in Banhine serve as partners and supporters for the project planning and coordination. They participate in the sense of ownership with funds that are saved for maintenance and repairs.
After successful construction of the solar plant, we start follow-up projects with the local community in the areas of:
gender equality (e.g. by fostering education around female hygiene and contraception and provision of related products),
computer literacy (to enable access to secondary education),
health (e.g. by connecting the local health clinic to the school's electricity grid)
and more.
To this end, we are expanding our network of donors and strengthening our cooperation with local companies. Be part of the journey!
