Muskaan means "smile." Muskaan  - Lächeln für Indien e.V. is a German NGO that supports a variety of aid projekts in India. Our focus points are education (of children, young people and women) as well as enabling access to medical care. We have several own charity projects in the Indian state Bihar, one of the poorest regions in India. They are all organised in collaboration with local partner organisations: 
  • Tailoring Centers where young women receive vocational training.
  • Village Projects with education programmes and access to medical care in villages affected by poverty.
  • Scholarships for children from poor families to get an excellent school education.
Our partner organisations in India are the St. Catherine’s Convent near the city Shahpur as well as the Chirag Education, Culture & Health Awareness Centre in Buxar. We develop our charity projects in cooperation with the local organisation's social workers. Our projects and relief campaigns are funded by donations from people like YOU! That's why we are grateful when you help us to give people in India a smile.
