Renovation of the kitchen building

Renovation of the main hall or also called the kitchen building. At the moment it can´t be used by the children and staff. It used to be a kitchen, dinig room, prayer room, place where the kids used to play, doing home work, reading, getting shelter.

The building that was constructed close to 47 years is in a risky state with visible cracks in the walls, in some areas bricks are falling apart, the roof is linking and almost at the verge of collapsing.
This building was last renovated 21 years ago when it used to serve as the chapel for morning, evening and Sunday prayers and fellowships.
The floor is cracked the walls have lost their original paint.
The electric wires lay bare though they are not connected to the grid.
The smoke from the kitchen poses a big risk to the health of both the staff and children.
The ceiling is falling apart with regular debris falling each day.
Currently, children’s food is being stored in the houses where the children sleep This is a big challenge because most of the times rodents disturb the children while trying to access the food store.
