About this project

After successfully completing all 21 Tour de France stages (2017) and all stages of the three-week Tour of Spain La Vuelta (2021), Markus Reimann will start the last of the three major cycling tours on May 5, 2022. This time it's off to Italy to ride the stages of the Giro d'Italia one day ahead of the pros, as usual.

In addition to his bike and his loyal helpers, Markus will again have his donation bag in his luggage to collect donations for BURUNDI KIDS. "I bike, you like" goes into the third round!

With your donations you can support Markus morally to get over the long and steep mountains of Italy and BURUNDI KIDS you support practically to buy bikes for Burundi. In Burundi, some families live so remotely that getting through for cars or even motorcycles becomes a challenge or simply impossible. The only means of transportation that remains and proves its worth: Bicycles. It costs about 150€ to buy a new bike on site. We are looking forward to being able to make such a purchase possible for as many local people as possible with your help!
