Digitization management and administration

The Jugendwerk Sankt Georg e.V. is the legal entity of the Deutsche Pfadfinderschaft Sankt Georg in Munich and Freising - with almost 5000 members in 60 local groups.

On the one hand, we manage funds and resources for the children and youth work on site and especially for the training of leaders. In addition, we operate two youth hostels and offer our groups affordable accommodation.

Our administration, management and bookkeeping is still very manual, thus time and resource consuming. 

Time that is missing on a more meaningful side - in the training of volunteer youth leaders. We want to make the - financial accounting digital - the reimbursement of expenses paperless - the administration of the youth centers interlocked and the organization of events more digital and easier.

In all this, we must pay attention to aspects of GoBD, data protection and regulations, so that we become simpler in everything, do not tear legal hurdles. In addition, we believe that the quality of the traceability of our actions As well as the assurance of compliance would increase.

We want to tackle the individual sub-aspects in different waves in the coming years, always bearing in mind that all sub-aspects will later either become part or be interlocked through sensible API use.
