    About this project

Marc Helwing from Project Wings gGmbH is responsible for this project
The war in Ukraine is claiming many victims and presenting people with unprecedented problems. Initial supplies in particular are posing immense challenges for people in the disaster areas. Food, medicine and especially drinking water are urgently needed. For this reason, we at Project Wings sat down with the Koblenz-based companies TrendView GmbH and CVC-Group Koblenz and considered how we could help. The result: together we will order and fill CAIRDROP first aid boxes and send them to the war zones as soon as possible.

    What is a CAIRDROP box?
The CAIRDROP box is a drinking water tank filled with relief supplies to effectively provide first aid in disaster areas. An innovative system is used to transport as many relief supplies as possible in a space-saving manner.

What does a CAIRDROP box contain?
    • 250 liters of drinking water (these are intelligently integrated into the cavities of the box's corpus)
    • Ceramic filters for water treatment (per box about 40,000 liters of drinking water can be generated without additional energy)
    • Medical supplies/hygiene items
    • Food (initial or basic supply of shelf-stable food)

The donations will be used to finance the procurement and filling of the CAIRDROP boxes as well as the transport to the war zone in order to help the local people with a supply of drinking water that is essential for survival.
