What is the Helpline for Refugees?
More and more people are on the run. People from Afghanistan, Syria, Eritrea, Venezuela and, last but not least, women, children and elderly people from Ukraine.
Her thoughts revolve around her family members, friends and acquaintances who stayed at home. Then there are the immediate concerns:
Where to and what now?
Where can I get money for groceries?
Where can I sleep?
How can my child get to school?
Where do I have to report when I arrive in Germany?
The Helpline for Refugees is intended to be a central point of contact and clarify and clarify these and other questions. She is an interface between interpreters and social workers who try to provide advice to those seeking protection as quickly as possible.
From March 10, 2022, those affected can contact us via WhatsApp, Viber or Telegram on 0049 1520 33 15 057.
With an emoji of the flag of their home country, we can assign which interpreter we need to forward the message to.
With this offer, we hope to be a lifeline that can be reached quickly, with which we can give those seeking protection quick and uncomplicated answers and take away their worries a little.
In the current situation, Ukrainians who need help getting away from the borders or who have problems on the way to Germany can also get in touch.
