Searching for missing persons - in a safe way!

All members of the Search and Rescue Dog unit Rettungshundestaffel CUXLAND e. V. need personal protection equipment (PPE) to be safe during search missions. The PPE consists of high-visibility clothes (pants and jacket according to DIN EN ISO 20471:2013 class 3) and depending on the search area also of a protective helmet including a visor or safety glasses. Forests are typical training and search terrain for our teams and to be protected from e. g. falling branches, we wear protective helmets in these areas.

The pants and jacket provide visibility, protect us in dense search areas and need to stand all weather conditions.

Since we have several new members in the unit and our existing helmets will reach the end of their lifecycle soon, we are currently in need of 10 more helmets.
We also need 10 jackets and although we are still reviewing different options, we know they will cost about 250 Euro each.
