Your piece of wilderness

forestly gUG (haftungsbeschränkt)
A project from forestly gUG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Mühlenfließ, Germany
We acquire or lease developed and fallow land in order to grow natural and mixed primeval forests. In this way, our forests create climate protection, jobs and provide habitat.

About this project

Tobias A. Kreuzig from forestly gUG (haftungsbeschränkt) is responsible for this project
Natural regeneration of the primeval forest of tomorrow.
Confucius already knew "He who plants a tree will gain heaven", and so we become active to protect our and our children's future. forest.ly starts in Germany and has set itself the goal of buying or leasing 1000000 hectares of eroded and fallow land worldwide and letting natural and mixed primeval forests grow on them. Always in close contact with the local communities.

Our projects are characterized by the long project horizon, our know-how, our digital monitoring, and the patience to give nature time to shape itself. We deliberately do not reforest, but let the forests take their natural course. This means that we do not cut any trees. Our software, developed at the same time, provides an all-around view of the effect our forests have and gives us almost real-time feedback on how the forests are doing. For example, we monitor CO₂ uptake, biodiversity, water volume, air purification, soil moisture, and much more. This allows us to react quickly and specifically in all situations.

Strict rules apply to our areas. They must be former forest areas only, we do not engage in land-grabbing, and we do not convert other types of land, such as grassland or healthy fields, into the forest. We create corridors, fill in bare areas in the middle of forests, or convert monocultures into mixed forests.

What we stand for:

Sustainable
We live and act sustainably. This means we act exclusively with a long time in mind and our possible influence on the future. We always give back more than we receive and live in harmony with people and nature.
Transparent
We are a small team and act with the greater good in the center of our actions. To achieve this, trust and truth are essential. Because only in this way cohesion and long-term relationships can develop.
Open
We are only human and there are always new ideas that sound unreal or crazy. There will always be gaps in our knowledge and only openness can close them. We listen actively and meet our counterparts with open arms and ears.
Passionate
We believe in what we do and do not give up at the slightest headwind. We always give 100% and strive to turn our vision into reality.
Patient
Like our forests, we are patient and suppress the urge to constantly interfere with natural processes. We remain calm even in extreme situations and do not lose sight of our goal.
